FOCUS Pittsburgh

FOCUS Pittsburgh opened its doors in 2011 in the city’s Hill District.

FOCUS Pittsburgh donates hundreds of backpacks each week to children in the Hill District and Southside Public Schools.

We offer an 8-week professional development class that teaches non-technical job skills to promote employment and success in the workplace.

In partnership with the Pittsburgh Orthodox Clergy Brotherhood, we distribute bag lunches on Saturdays to homeless and needy persons in our neighborhood.

We have an emergency food bank, and a [frequently] free community dinner.

In 2014 we opened a free medical and behavioral health clinic for people who are uninsured or who don’t qualify for medical assistance.
